Hi....We are a small group called "Don't Give Up" that work voluntarily every week to help the Homeless in Cork City so in conjunction with Focus Ireland and the Annual Shine a Light Sleepout for the homeless Judy, John & Olivia will sleep out overnight in Cork City on Friday October 11th to raise some much needed funds for supplies to keep the homeless fed and clothed coming into the winter months. Every week we see the homeless numbers grow that need ongoing help so without your support our efforts are limited and could not continue to help so many people.

A bit about our Group.....We are a voluntary non-profit small group of people who meet every Thursday night at 9pm near the Simon Center where we provide warm food, tea/coffee, (our very popular)Hot Chocolate, sandwiches, fruit, minerals etc...but most importantly a listening ear along with helping the less fortunate in any way we can, be it clothes, footwear, underwear, sleeping bags etc..this is not always an easy task as we hear and see some heart-wrenching stories & situations which unfortunately drink & drugs have played a huge part in and families have been torn apart as a result. We are so so grateful to the gentleman who covers the rental of our storage unit, all the businesses which donate hot food to us every week along with all other individuals who donate clothing to us on a regular basis...we cannot thank you enough for your continued support but we need this fundraiser to help coming into the winter months as the weather deteriorates rapidly and more supplies are needed
