Jolene was murdered the evening of October 12, 2011. Her killer is still free. The ongoing murder investigation & constant reminders of the circumstances around Jolene's death, keeps this horrendous crime in our minds constantly. The burden of grief & murder remains a heavy one.

Every year I ask myself, how do we honour Jolene on her birthday? How do we keep her memory, her name & her story alive? How can we overcome the evil with something good. This fundraiser is our way of putting our love for Jolene into action!

In loving memory of Jolene Cote we invite our family, friends and community to join us in raising funds for Sleep in Heavenly Peace. SHP is a charitable organization that provides beds & bedding for children who don't have a bed to sleep in. Below is a description of SHP and what they do for children and families.

Our goal is to raise enough money so together with SHP, we'll be able to provide 5 children with their own comfy bed & warm bedding to snuggle into! A donation of any amount will help us reach this goal & make a big difference in the lives of children!

The cost of each bed, complete with bedding, is about $450. We raised $500 so far. To reach our goal, we need to raise another $1,650.

Your donations of money, bedding & volunteering time to build beds is going to make some children very happy! Jolene would love it!

Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a registered Canadian charity. Reg # 784917874RR0001 that makes and give beds to kids ages 3 to 17 who sleep on the floor. As a volunteer run agency we rely on people to help build and deliver beds. All beds include new mattresses, bedding and pillows. Our mission: " NO KID SLEEPS ON THE FLOOR IN OUR TOWN". The joy of seeing kids with new beds motivates us to press on. Thank you for caring!
