Paige’s story: HARRISON 22-07-16 ❤️ So I was happily expecting my first baby boy, when I developed what I thought was the flu, it turned out to be sepsis, after afew days in hospital I was told I was seriously ill and lucky to be here. Our baby Harrison was born prematurely on the 22nd July 2016 weighing 1lb5. Perfect in every was possible, but life here on earth proved too difficult for him, so we had to make the dreaded decision of letting him fly with the angels on the 29/07/2016 So me (Paige) and the sister-in-law Hannah and Katie (Hannah's sister) have decided to raise funds for this brilliant charity to help other babies and families. Sands were amazing and helped me and my family through the difficult times, with support during and after. They also support Hannah in her job as a children and families social worker and many, many other families/professionals too. Sands are there for people in their darkest time and help preserve those precious moments - REMEMBER; every penny helps! At 3pm on Saturday 5th September Hannah, Katie and myself are going to jump out of a plane and put faith into the parachute to land us safely!!!!  More information about Sands (Stillbirth & Neonatal Death Society): Sands supports anyone affected by the death of a baby, works in partnership with health professionals to try to ensure that bereaved parents and families receive the best possible care and funds research that could help to reduce the numbers of babies dying and families devastated by this tragedy.
