This Christmas marked 5 years since I lost my beautiful Nan to a house fire on Boxing Day, and so on my 21st birthday next month I will be jumping 15,000 feet out of a plane and doing a skydive hoping to raise some money for Dan’s Funds For Burns.

Dan’s Fund for Burns is a small but active national charity that provides practical support to burns survivors across the UK. They help adult burn survivors with everything from grants to equipment, emergency funding, emotional support and more. They offer the ongoing help people need in the lifetime that follows a serious burn injury, as well as prevention and awareness campaigns for which there is no national funding.
