Adopting My Daughter

I met my daughter in Applebees when she was with her cousin. She would come in and ask for me and id sit and talk to her and pay for her to play the games at the table and we got along very well. So well that it must of made an impact because one night while she was at walmart with her Mom she saw me and ran off towards me . She introduced me to her mom as her best friend and told her that she needed to get my number so we could have a play date and she could meet my dog. Little did i know she was playing match maker.  Two days later she has an important swim pratice and alot of people close to her couldnt make it and i found that out and showed up and her face was a smile from ear to ear and she ran into my arms. Me and her mother ( now my wife ) hit it off instantly. The next week sky got on the phone with me and said she was hungry could i please bring her food and then begged me to spend the night, and i couldnt tell her no... I havent spent a night away from her since then ,unless she went somewhere on the weekend . She camped outside of the door to listen to me say yes the day her mother asked me out...I later found out she had been begging her too. She was there to share our engagement and our wedding.. I remember her being so happy she just cried and held me. I love that little girl with all my heart . I take her to school and pick her up everyday. I'm becoming a stay at home mom next year so we can try homeschooling to help give her the attention she needs to be a better student . Even though i see myself as her mother and so does sky, legally i keep getting told i have no rights and that hurts.That even married to my wife im just an "othe" "caregiver" "step-parent" and we have had many issues with multiple places about the rights i have and what i am allowed to do for her and fill out for her being just the mother by marriage.My daughter has been begging for my last name since before the wedding and since our wedding refuses to write anything other than Cain on all her school paper work or anything else. She introduces herself as Sky Cain to everyone and us as her mom and mommy . PLEASE help us reach our goal to afford to get the ball rolling on making me legally the person i already see myself as to our daughter . Thank you !
