The 2026 World Stone Skimming Championships on the 5th of September at Easdale Island.

It's not "Climbing all the Munros in one winter season" or running 30 Marathons in 30 days in reverse gear...It's just Chuckin a Stone!?

Starting this Go Fund me page to raise the SMSA's profile and your awareness of there work. It's experiencing Community, Craft, Skills, aspiring, accomplishing and Compassion with the odd words of wisdom thrown into the mix. There's a shed near you. The shed I know of from my time living in Creiff was full of top notch old school joinery machinery etc and characters keen to share a lifetimes knowledge.

More information about Scottish Men's Sheds Association: We are the support hub of the Scottish Men's Sheds movement. From a lone inquiry on how to start a Men's Shed and remain sustainable to developing health policies with Scot Gov, working with Universities in Scottish male health research and to spread the message about this male health movement targeting men over the age of eighteen with time on their hands.
