The Skid Row Streetball League, a program of Skid Row Brigade, Inc. (501c3 nonprofit), is more than just basketball. It’s a lifeline for children and families living in one of Los Angeles’ most underserved communities.
Our Community Engagement Program combines:
Basketball Skill Clinics – teaching teamwork, confidence, responsibility, and conflict resolution.
Art Workshops – encouraging creativity, self-expression, and healing.
Mentorship & Life Skills Training – connecting youth with role models who guide them through challenges.
️ Essential Resources – hot meals, groceries, clothing, shoes, school supplies, hygiene kits, and resource referrals for families.
Through basketball, art, mentorship, and resource fairs, we provide youth with a safe space to grow emotionally, build confidence, and access essentials like hot meals, groceries, clothing, school supplies, and hygiene kits. For many, our events are the only opportunity to connect with positive role models and vital resources.
We are fundraising to sustain our year-round community engagement program. Your support will help us provide food, supplies, mentorship, and safe spaces for Skid Row youth to thrive.
