Whilst we have finished fundraising funds for the build, we are still fundraising to help cover our annual running costs. Any donations received will go towards maintenance, insurance and our annual safety inspection costs.

Following the removal of the wooden Skatepark on Fanny Shaws, volunteers from the local community are accelerating efforts to raise funds for a concrete Skatepark.

The Skatepark had become a valuable community asset for Wirksworth and the surrounding area, providing a much needed space and leisure activity for children and young people.

Delivered through a phased approach, the new Skatepark area will be designed for all ages, aiming to increase social cohesion between user groups, whilst also reducing anti-social behaviour in the local community.

The initial phase will focus on installing a new concrete skate park, with a fundraising aim of £150,000. To help our success with grant applications, we are aiming to complete community fundraising to demonstrate the value that our community place on this facility. We really appreciate your help and support - Every Little Helps!
