My name is Shane McCarthy. I am a father of 3 wonderful children. I have been skating for over 20 years.

As a child and young adult I was raised in and
out of the foster care program, for me my skateboard was my best friend. My skateboard watched over me and kept me out of trouble, when I was frustrated, sad, happy or excited I skated. Skateboarding saved me, raised me and taught me so many things besides falling down and getting back up. This summer and Christmas I want to give that gift to as many foster children, kids who have it rough, or kids that just need a pick me up because of their situation. We are working with my social worker, local non profits and other organizations to find kids who need skateboarding in their life. Skating takes away life’s hardships when you are on the board so let’s give that to the kids!! It would fill our hearts with joy if you could support or donate to the cause!
