Stockport to Singapore
Hi, I’m Ollie a lad with a bike, a dream, a sh*t mullet, and absolutely no idea what I’ve let myself in for.
The furthest I’ve ever cycled is to Chester and back. I’ve somehow decided to ride from Stockport all the way to Singapore. Some say it’s brave, others say it’s mad. I say it’s probably a bit of both. What I lack in cycling experience (and decent gear), I make up for in determination, grit, and arguably questionable life choices.
But this isn’t just about the adventure. I’m riding to raise money for MANUP?, a charity close to my heart that’s working to change minds and conversations around men’s mental health.
Too many men still suffer in silence. MANUP? aims to break the stigma, promote open conversations, and offer support that can save lives. With your help, we can support their mission and make a real impact.
Every donation — big or small — helps. Whether you can spare a few quid or just cheer me on from your sofa, I’d be incredibly grateful for the support.
And if you’re interested in following my progress (or want to see how badly my legs are coping), I’ll be posting updates throughout the ride on Instagram: @oliverhb92
Thanks so much — and wish me luck. I think I’m going to need
