Hello, please allow me to introduce myself, My name is Robert and I have been living in the Philippines for 5 years now. This letter is a plea for help is not for me, but for the communities I have been supporting on my own for 4 years. My dad set up this page hoping it will help and allow us to show you our story.
Please take a few moments to read what is happening and how badly we need your support.
First allow me let you know that this is the first letter/Campaign I have ever written seeking help. I have been supporting over 300 families on my own here in the Philippines that are in a very estranged and disastrous situation. Until now I have been using my own money equating to 80% of my income to help these families.
Unfortunately, due the COVID-19 (Corona Virus) I am unable to support these families on my own as the entire community has completely crashed; They have 0 income, 0 jobs, and are literally out of food and medicine.
I am seeking help on their behalf as my personal resources are completely exhausted and the families still need help.
4 years ago I started 3 programs: Food, Education, and Medicine. I have fully financed these programs myself but can no longer provide enough help as the need has grown greatly. I started these programs when I realized that my personal donations to the local charities was not reaching the communities. I found this to be unacceptable and shameful. I could not stand by while seeing children and elders go hungry, sick, and live in conditions rats don’t even stay in. So, I started to help, buying food, medicine and clothing every week until I was helping over 300 families.
To be honest I am not a fund raiser and have no idea how to raise funds. Unfortunately, the situation here has become so dire that I need to reach out for help.
I have attached pictures of the families we were able to feed today. It was only about 60 families today (April 7,2020). I ran out of supplies and was unable to continue.
No, I am not a missionary, but i do believe in God and Jesus Christ. I was taught by my family that hard work yields blessings, and when blessed we should help our neighbors. My neighbors are in and extremely bad situation and have been for a long time. What I can guarantee is that 100% of your donation/help goes directly to food and medical supplies and proof can be provided. I am asking with all my heart, please help these people as they are literally starving and dying.
I have set up a website and ask that you take some time to look at the pictures and see that is happening. Please help these people.
Thank You

From Steve (My Dad) - I Hope everyone is staying safe and coping with this pandemic. In January I was able to visit my son Robert in the Philipines for 2 weeks. I had a fun time and made many new friends, hoping to go back again next year. A highlight of my visit was traveling to where Robert had originally lived and we spent the day playing & feeding about 50 kids. He fed them all; played games on the beach and gave them prizes & stuffed animals. He mentioned that some of the kids may not of eaten the day before. Anyway, he tries to do this monthly but now with the virus the situation is worse. He’s been using his own money $200-$300 a week to buy food for many families and I sent him $200 for him to use. However, I thought it would be nice if I reach out to my friends to see if anyone could help; please only help if you are doing well yourself. I know many of you can’t work and are in need yourselves. If anyone can spare 5,10,20,50 or $100 etc I know the families in the Philippines will be blessed by it. Thank You. May the Lord bless you and may this pandemic end soon!!
