Support Our Travel to Romania to Meet Rachel's Sister

Help our family be there when our mom meets her sister for the first time after being separated for 34 years! When my wife, Rachel (then almost 2-years-old) and her biological sister, Ana, were adopted from Romania, Rachel was brought to New York, while Ana headed to England. After years of searching online, Rachel (My Beloved Private Investigator) traveled to Romania and eventually succeeded in contacting Ana via letter, phone, and over WhatsApp! Now we have planned for Rachel, as well as the rest of her biological family, to meet Ana in Romania for the first time in 34 years. We have purchased a plane ticket for Rachel but have come up short for the rest of the family to join.
The kids and I recently started homeschooling. One day in May, we decided to do some rough calculations on a whiteboard to figure out how much money we would need in order to join Rachel on this incredible adventure of meeting our Aunt Ana. The numbers came out to right around $8,000. This seemed like a big number, but we started to brainstorm how we could reach this goal. Yard sale, family carnival at the park, dad (me) singing benefit concerts around Pittsburgh, and a GoFundMe.
Rachel's tickets are for early July. Please pray for us and support us in whatever way you are able so that we can reach our goal.
Thank you for reading about our campaign and for your generosity.
With gratitude,
