I'd like you to meet my friend, Sister J <3
Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of meeting Sister Jane (Sister J, for short) on the sidewalk of Lake Merritt. She asked me a question that would change my life: 

"Do you have 75 cents for food?"

Coming from a cafe, I had breakfast in my hand and extended it to her. This went on for several weeks. before I decided to sit down and eat alongside her. 

I've been visiting Sister J for months and would like to show her love and support this Christmas season with your help. 

Meeting Sister J has changed my life. She and I have shared countless hours of conversation, meals, and support for each other from our bench on Lake Merritt. 

I started this campaign so that you, too, could help the homeless and share with somebody who so richly deserves a helping hand. 

Please give from the generosity of your heart and help me raise $1,000 to give to her as a Christmas present.
