Sister Rose's Community Outreach Fund

Salaams! 

I'm Sister/Leighanna Rose, you probably know me from スライムＭＡＵＰＩＮ★ＢＯＲＧＥＲ and running the back end of the Saving She-Ra stream, as a ENVTuber who hangs around the indie scene, or my involvement with the Dad Feels & Nonchalance communities. 

Basically, I do work in the community, primarily with the Romani community, previously the Asylum Seeker community, and have been supporting one particular vulnerable family, as well as occasionally others. In Europe, the Romani community is criminalised much like Black & Latine folks in the US and often live in serious poverty. 

I have been supporting this community,  and particularly this family largely out of my own pocket with some small help from the community for nearly 6 years. I myself am quite poor, only receiving disability, so focusing on things like my transition, music or youtube has been difficult and spending a lot of money on others has caused strife between me and my friends/family. 

Most recently, they've been forced of their home and are living in temporary accommodation that is prohibitively expensive, leaving her with no money for food. 

I have gotten to the point where it's taken it's toll on me and I need to be able to focus on myself - I am trying to get an emotional support animal since my previous pet died. I've been in a state of sustained depression and am finding it harder to put others before myself.

I am by no means destitute, though I am supporting people who teeter on the border of being so. This is not therefore not an urgent fundraiser - I would recommend putting money towards BLM related causes primarily at the moment - but it would do an awful lot to helping a family who are constantly on the border of being homeless. 

By supporting this, you are helping contribute directly towards future clothing, medical and potential emergency costs(emergencies occurring very few weeks) for a vulnerable Romani family as well freeing up a vulnerable trans person having to pay for it all out of pocket, helping me support the animal I need.
