SISTA SISTA Community Space

Hey Guys - For those of you who don’t know me I’m Holly founder of “ SISTA SISTA - Stronger Together” An act of Kindness Community Provision with the aim of providing Front Line Woman & Children’s Services with Self Care packs donated by our own Community.

SISTA SISTA’S Core Values are based on Kindness, Compassion and Understanding - So far, due to the incredible acts of Kindness from our Community we have provided 120 across Services in Coventry. This is just the START …. A pledge was made to provide 30 Packs to each individual Family Hub within Coventry accumulating to 240 Packs!!!!!!!! This doesn’t take into account the daily messages we receive to provide to other provisions.

The Vision is where every Women and Child who are accessing services have access to our Self Care packs, accessibility is key for EVERYONE .. Whether this be a Family Hub, School, further Education , Support Groups, Women’s Specialised Services, Local Community groups, charity’s etc.

This is where is gets REAL for me and I’m telling you this as the Open and honest person that I am ….. SISTA SISTA is a passion project , nothing in this life gives me the fulfilment that this ever could, I DO NOT make any money or wage from this I started it because I see the reality for so many Women and Children on a daily basis.

3 Weeks ago My Beautiful Mother suddenly passed away - My Mum was behind my vision all the way , however behind the scenes my Mum was a Full time Carer to my dad who suffers from Chronic COPD, the space I had for SISTA SISTA Will now be used as an option for my Dad to stay so I can care for him ❤️

BUT , Never fear the universe has worked its magic and I have found a space 200 yards from my home , at the Heart of Coundon which will could act as not only a storage space , but a drop in / Collections Hub / Safe Space where people can come and hold meetings with Women if the location were to suite, A listening Ear and a warm Cuppa & Cake, a space to enable me to continue the growth of SISTA SISTA and plot our Journey , this comes at cost and this is Why we are appealing for any donations no matter how Big or small to secure 6 MONTHS RENT !

Can we do it - I have never been so sure in all my Life, this is the right thing to do and my intuition has so far never let me down in Life !
