Hi, my name is Jordy and I’m a Sioux City West High Graduate. I will be attending the University of South Dakota this fall and I am fundraising to put menstrual products in the school bathrooms in the Sioux City Community, Middle and High schools. This topic is important because it allows for students to have access to products when they don’t have any on hand. I know how important it is for the health and lives of the students that I go to schools with to have these products available. Providing the products would help combat period poverty as for students who don’t have access to any at all. As well as for anyone who needs them in an emergency situation. By providing products, students wouldn’t have to skip class or school because they didn’t have any on hand.

With the funds collected, I will be able to purchase the products to supply the bathrooms. After purchasing all, I will evenly distribute all the products to the 6 schools, 18 bathrooms in total.

By donating $15, you are supplying one bathroom per month and two bathrooms for $30.

You can also purchase the products and drop them off at Sioux City West High, North High, East High and Girls Inc.
