Sint Pieterpad lopen voor een nieuw klaslokaal in Uganda

Hello everyone!

My name is Dennis Visser.

I am 29 years old and from Breda (The Netherlands).

With your help, I want to dedicate myself to supporting children in Uganda.

For a long time, I’ve been searching for an enriching adventure that allows me to help others. Recently, I connected with the Good Samaritan School in Uganda, and I’m thrilled about the opportunity to make a difference there. My goal is to build a classroom for children for whom education is far from guaranteed.

By doing this, I hope we can help generations of children gain a fairer chance in life, with education as a solid foundation. We’ve been fortunate to receive this foundation, but many children around the world are not as lucky.

This is not just a simple donation project. To raise funds, I’ll be walking the St. Peter's Path in the Netherlands for a full month, carrying only a tent and a backpack. I’m challenging myself in this way in the hopes of inspiring donations to give the children in Uganda a new classroom.

I plan to document this journey and release it in episodes on YouTube to encourage more people to take on such meaningful projects—I want to inspire others.

Deep down, I believe that everyone has the desire to do good for one another. Sometimes, we just don’t know how to express it.

Once this incredible journey is completed, we’ll travel to Uganda with the collected funds. There, we’ll help build the classroom ourselves, and of course, I’ll document that part of the journey as well. Everything will be shared on YouTube and on social media.

Mijn naam is Dennis Visser.

Ik ben 29 jaar oud en kom uit Breda.

Met jullie hulp wil ik mijzelf gaan inzetten voor de kinderen in Uganda.

Al voor een lange tijd ben ik opzoek naar een verrijkend avontuur waarbij ik mensen kan helpen.

Zo ben ik een tijd geleden met de Good Samaritan School in Uganda in contact gekomen. Het lijkt me geweldig om een klaslokaal te bouwen voor kinderen waar onderwijs niet vanzelfsprekend is.

Op deze manier hoop ik dat we generaties aan kinderen kunnen helpen een eerlijkere kans te krijgen in het leven met onderwijs als goede basis. Wij hebben deze basis wel gekregen maar dit is bij veel kinderen op de wereld niet het geval.

Dit is niet zomaar een donatie project. Om geld op te halen ga ik zelf een maand lang het sint pieterspad in Nederland lopen met een tent en een rugzak mee. Ik zet mezelf op de proef om hopelijk donaties te ontvangen om de kinderen in Uganda een nieuw klaslokaal te schenken.

Dit wil ik gaan vastleggen en in afleveringen uitbrengen op Youtube om zo meer mensen te stimuleren om zulke mooie dingen te ondernemen, ik wil graag mensen inspireren.

Stiekem zit het in ieder mens dat we iets goeds willen doen voor elkaar.

Soms weten we gewoon niet hoe we het moeten laten zien.

Zodra de spectaculaire reis is volmaakt gaan we met het verzamelde geld naar Uganda toe.

Daar zullen we gaan meehelpen met het bouwen van het klaslokaal.

Ook dit ga ik uiteraard vastleggen.

Alles zal dus op Youtube en uiteraard op Social Media komen.

Op deze manier vraag ik jullie aandacht en om een donatie voor dit project.
