Hi all..first thank you for taking the time to read this. I am a single mother of an amazing and beautiful 9 month old girl, Emerson. I recently became unemployed and since then have been working part time but had to move farther away from my job and from my friend's place where we were staying...while looking for more full-time work to be able to care for my daughter I was unfortunately scammed out of every cent I had saved up previously to live off of. I was hopeful since I had used the site to find babysitting work before and thought I had a full time job ahead of me; I thought that things were looking up for us...and I didn't notice the red flags that I should have. He took everything and I am left now with insufficient funds in my account and multiple bills about to be deducted. I did everything possible to try to get the money back; filed reports, made claims, etc., but this guy from Indiana gets to keep my hard earned money and my only savings to feed and raise my daughter...I pray that somehow and someway he needed it more than me. I am embarrassed and ashamed that I was so naive to other people's cruelty, but even moreso that I have failed my daughter again. I have never been able to give her everything she deserved and even her hospital bills have still not been paid for or touched almost a year later because I couldn't afford healthcare during my pregnancy at my previous workplace. I was and am trying to get help from the state but that has been a struggle itself and nothing has been approved or even processed. I am trying to get more work, but have no one to watch my daughter while I look for more work or while I go to work, so I have to bring her with me which makes it difficult, and I am simply at a huge loss as to what to do next. So besides the many, many prayers that I send up, I am also reaching out to anyone willing to help a mother who continues to fight for a chance to prove herself to her daughter and who still believes that there is good out there in today's world.
