Single Mother of 2 - Passed Away
Donation protected
A message of thanks from Margarita’s two wonderful daughters:
“Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get." Our mom was not only our parent she was also our best friend. Although it saddens us every day that she isn't with us, we know she is resting. We would like to thank every single one of you for your continuous support and donations. We pray that you are blessed with good health and spirit! We will always continue our mother's legacy & she will never be forgotten.

Mercy & Marlene Bobadilla
Margarita Ramirez, a resilient single mother of two, Mercy (18) and Marlena (16), tragically lost her battle with stage 4 gastric cancer on 09/10/2023 at the age of 42. She was admitted to St. John’s hospital on Friday and passed on Sunday. She had no symptoms of her illness, this was a sudden and horrifically tragic death. Margarita, a Mexican immigrant who dedicated two decades of her life to provide for her daughters through cleaning work, had sole legal and physical custody of them. With no family in the United States, her daughters now rely solely on each other.
In the wake of their mother's passing, Mercy (18) has bravely assumed the role of legal guardian for Marlena (16). To ensure her sister's well-being, Mercy is prepared to redirect her UC-Berkeley scholarship to a local Los Angeles university. These young girls have faced unimaginable adversity, and your assistance can help them navigate the most challenging chapter of their lives, honoring their mother's unwavering dedication and sacrifice.
