Single Mother of 2: Everything Lost to Flames
Donation protected
Larisa Covington is a loving, strong, and fearless; Single mother to two young men. The first 5 months of 2023, have been especially trying for Larisa and the young men who depend on her most. Earlier this week, Larisa and her two sons lost everything they own to a house fire. Larisa owned the home that she and her two sons were sharing together as a family, and had recently found a new location where she had the home moved to. Before Larisa and her sons were able to unpack and settle into their home's new location, the home and its contents were lost in flames. The intial investigation from the Fire Inspector, indicates the cause of the fire was intentional, and it is being investigated as Vandalism. This tragic loss has come at an especially difficult time for Larissa, as she was one of many victims, that were targeted by hackers who hacked into the USPS LiteBlue Pay System, about one month prior. Due to her USPS employee account, being one of many, that were targeted by this scam; Larisa did not receive her USPS Payroll Deposit during the month prior to losing her family's home in this tragic fire. Everything helps! Larisa and her sons have a temporary housing arrangement with family members, while she regroups, and navigates her family in this time of uncertatinty. We ask that everyone rally together, as a community of love and kindness, to lift this beautiful mother and her two sons out of this trying moment in time. Be Kind. Show Love. Spread Love.
