Single Mother Jasmine Cook Fights Rare Autoimmune Disease
Spende geschützt
My name is April and I am fundraising for Jasmine Cook and her 2 children Brielle and Christian. It is coming up to a year now that we have watched Jasmine's health decline as she is seriously ill. Her biopsies have gone through 10 pathologists and the Mayo clinic referred it as, "interesting and challenging." She has been unable to receive proper treatment as the disease is that rare. She no longer has a septum and has suffered two painful biopsies. She has been unable to work and cannot receive government benefits because she had a good income - when she could work - she can't work. She cannot work as she is in constant pain. She prided herself on being a lawyer, mediator and mother, and doing it all on her own. Now she prides herself getting out of bed. She awaits the next specialist on the list. She awaits disability. But rent, food and basic necessities do not wait. She has had to rely on family for her most basic needs, for the children's most basic needs. But a year is a long wait and the time has come to ask for help.
The preferred diagnosis is Granulomatosis with Polyangitis and can be fatal as it slows blood to some vital organs. It's fight time. Not worry about how to get grocery time or pay bills time. Your donations will be applied to essential items like accommodations, food, utilities, bills and to take the worry away from the children, because they are worried - about their mommy.
Any donation you are able to give is so greatly appreciated. The help to get mommy through this horrible disease and back on her feet again is priceless. Jasmine thanks you just for taking the time to read her story.
