Hi, my name is Joyce, and I'm a single mother of four beautiful daughters—ages 5, 10, 17, and 18. I am fighting my second battle with metastatic breast cancer. This journey has been overwhelming. I've undergone chemotherapy, radiation, and surgeries previously, but my current chemotherapy treatment is at MD Anderson in Texas.
Although along the way I have lost my hair, fingernails, toenails, suffered third-degree burns from chemotherapy, and now deal with painful lymphedema, I have never lost my faith in GOD!!! I continue to push forward—for my daughters, who are my world and my reasons to fight. But the truth is, I need your help. Because of the physical toll from treatment, I lost my job—and eventually my apartment. As I submit to God's timing and await the miracles He has for my life, my most urgent needs are basic: a safe place to stay for my girls and me, medicine, school supplies for them, and gas to get to and from treatments.
I never imagined that I would be in this position where I'd have to ask for help, but here I am. And I believe in the kindness of others and the power of community. Every donation—big or small—makes a difference in helping me stay in treatment and care for my daughters during this incredibly difficult season. Your support will help cover:
Medications and ongoing medical expenses
School supplies and clothing for my daughters
Transportation needs
Emergency housing and basic living needs
If you can't give right now, please consider sharing this campaign. Every share spreads hope for someone just like me, that there is power in love and community.
From my heart to yours, thank you.
With love and gratitude,
Joyce
