Hi, my name is Anais. I started this fundraiser for my good friend, Amelia. Amelia has a heart of gold. I've never ever met anyone like her. She's ALWAYS willing to selflessly help you and give what ever she has if it will help you. In a crowd of people, she stands out as the one who will come near to you to ask how you are doing and genuinely care about your response. A simple "good" is not enough for her. Unfortunately, as it seems to go with the best among us, she's had some trials and unfairness in her life. Just recently, her ex-husband took advantage of the fact that she couldn't pay money for a good lawyer to keep custody of her young teenager, and he went to court with his own lawyer and was able to take the custody right out of her hands, leaving her with no way to fight back. The money collected in this GoFundMe will help her pay for her attorney fees, to give her a fighting chance, and some of her travel costs as her ex-husband lives in France. I wish I could pay this all for her on my own. PLEASE help as you can.
