Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
On April 22nd our lives were turned upside down when a devastating fire broke out in a neighboring apartment and spread to ours. In a matter of minutes, everything we owned, cherished, and worked hard for was engulfed in flames, leaving us with nothing but the clothes on our backs and heavy hearts.
We never imagined that we would face such a traumatic experience, but here we are. Our furniture, clothing, cherished belongings, and irreplaceable memories were all lost in the inferno, leaving us feeling utterly lost and helpless.
As we sift through the ashes and try to piece our lives back together, we are overwhelmed by the immense challenges that lie ahead. As a single mother of three girls, the road to recovery is long and arduous, but with your support, we know that we can overcome this challenge and emerge stronger than ever before.
Your generous contributions will help us cover the immediate expenses of starting over with new clothing, food, and other essentials as we navigate this difficult time. Additionally, your support will enable us to begin the process of rebuilding our lives, including securing a new permanent residence, replacing essential household items, and covering any unforeseen expenses that may arise along the way.
No amount is too small, and every donation, prayer, and gesture of kindness brings us one step closer to healing and rebuilding our lives. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your unwavering support, compassion, and generosity during this incredibly challenging time.
Together, we can turn this tragedy into an opportunity for growth, resilience, and hope. With your help, we can rise from the ashes and rebuild our lives.
Thank you for being our light in the darkness.
Sincerely,
Laura Leonetti and her three precious girls.
