In December 2017, the lives of Katrinna and her 3 beautiful daughters changed when her husband and their father decided to leave them abruptly.
Katrinna and her girls, Olivia (8), Abigail (3) and and Mia (18 months at the time), were left with absolutely no money and had to leave their home in Florida to move in with a childhood friend in Maryland for the next year and 1/2 to keep a roof over their head and get help with childcare while Katrinna found work.
It was at this time in her life that Katrinna and her girls began to know Jesus and trust in Him. The girls have not seen their father since he left as he relocated to another state. Katrinna has received no parental support or financial help from him whatsoever.
God has truly sustained this beautiful single mother and her daughters during this time and through all of the struggles and hardship Katrinna has had to face, she is still standing on faith in God to restore her broken family and make it whole again.
Now, as their season in Maryland has come to an end, they find themselves back in Florida to be closer to family.
Since arriving in June, Katrinna has been able to land a job, but her car has since broken down and 2 of the 3 girls began school this week. Mia, the youngest, needs daycare support but the cost of daycare is high and help from the government isn’t easy to get as she continues to apply unsuccessfully.
Her prayers are to get a home and a better paying job where she can properly support her girls, but she finds herself facing a current crisis of repairing her car as well as covering childcare expenses and saving up for a place to live.
They came to Florida with only a few personal belongings and a mattress she recently bought as she had been sleeping on an air mattress for over a year.
Since knowing Katrinna and her girls since October of last year, I’ve grown to love them very much and was hoping I could find a way to help them walk into a new beginning to relieve the long hardship they have all had to endure.

The goal is to help purchase a used car, rent deposit, first 2 months of rent, childcare expenses, and some furniture to help them get started.
