Hi, my name is Jessie, and I’m a single mom to the most incredible boy, Mason.

Since he was born, it’s been just the two of us. I’ve shown up for him every single day — through sleepless nights, milestones, and moments of joy I never thought I’d get to experience. He’s my everything.

Mason’s father left me while I was pregnant, got another girl pregnant and married her 12 days before I gave birth. The 3 of them moved to Texas without saying a word. Out of nowhere he is now trying to gain custody.

This is more than a custody battle. It’s about protecting the safe, loving, stable life I’ve built for my son. I’ve been his sole caregiver, advocate, and provider. I’ve done everything I can on my own… but I can’t do this part alone.

I’ve secured a lawyer who believes in our case — but legal help comes with a price. I’m raising $4,750 to cover legal fees, filings, and preparation to make sure we’re protected when we walk into that courtroom.
