Hi my Name is Billy Vernon, dad of 3 another on the way

Me and my family moved into a house in axminster (devon) .

Our lives have turned upside down and I am in need of support after a devastating flood has ruined, what I call home, for myself, my children, and many family pets.

This is the second time in two years that I’ve woken up the most awful sight of water filling my family home. The damage has been devastating. Much of our home was submerged under filthy river water and many of our belongings, including items I’ve worked hard to afford, irreplaceable family memories, children’s toys, were all ruind and my childrens pets that have died due to this and our family vehicles lost now.

I now face having to find a safe place to settle temporarily, for myself, my three children (plus my fourth child that is due in 3 weeks) and our family pets as our home is not currently liveable.

Most of the renovations from the previous flood and items I had invested in, have been lost. Being self-employed, I will now face months ahead of me having to rebuild my home . So I won't be able work so I’ll also not be receiving any income.
