Single Dad of 3 Needs Two Extra Bedrooms

If you have been on the Adoption and Foster Care side of TikTok for any length of time, you know the "Quintock" Family! For those of you who have not yet had the pleasure, let me take a moment to introduce you to Michael Quinton...

 

Michael is a single Dad to three amazing kids - Blake, Clayton, and Alesia! 

 

Michael has been trying to raise the funds to add two additional bedrooms to his home in order to provide individual space for the kids. He’s done this via links to surveys, games, and a recently developed sticker shop to help cover the costs. He’s also refinanced his house, as well as put a hefty chunk of the renovations on his credit card. The total cost for the renovations is just over $40k, and as of this morning, he is $18k shy of making these accommodations a reality.

 

We have chosen to set up this Go-Fund-Me on his behalf for anyone who has been asking how they can help the “Quintock” family. Michael has always been hesitant about asking for help for himself – and spends countless hours every month advocating and fundraising for other organizations that provide services to children in the American Foster Care System. This fundraiser put simply, is an attempt for the community to give back to Michael and his family if they are moved to do so.

A:  We are TikTok Creators and friends to Michael.  Our unernames on TikTok are @ (no space) InventingNormal and @ (no space) MrInventingNormal

A:  We live in Norman, Oklahoma

Q:  Your relationship to the parties you're raising funds for

 A:  We are (In Real Life) friends with Michael Quinton

Q:  How the funds will be used (please be specific as possible)

A:  The funds will be used to complete the garage remodel that has a quote of $40k.  The garage will be turned into two bedrooms, and new access (a door where there is currently a wall) to an existing bathroom will be added.  A pantry will also be added.  IF funds exceed the goal, Michael has indicated that he will pay off his car to eliminate the second car payment.  This will take a significant burden off of the family and allow them to take the money previously being paid into the car and place it into savings.  As Michael will be giving up his bathroom and closet, anything beyond what has already been stated will be used to build a second bathroom and a closet for Michael.
