Single Dad in hardship

We are just tiny specks in the cosmos. Every one of us. Despite status, wealth, smarts, love or luck.

Nick here single dad to two teens living in Fremantle Australia. Having applied and been rejected for over 500 jobs (sadly not a misprint - ranging from what I know and love making tv to stacking shelves and driving a van!) I’ve all but given up.

Savings gone, car sold, pension cashed in. No home or anything else to sell. I desperately need help before I lose my rental and throw everything into storage. At 56 age doesn’t help and now a shadow of my former self.

Started a diploma in counselling recently so hopefully I can pay it forward sometime soon. And I have the very real pride of having two awesome kids who thrill me every day.

Also just completed bariatric weight loss surgery so hoping to be back to my former ‘skinny tins ribs’ self - 40 odd years on!

Feel wretched to reach out for help, after many people have already helped so generously. I hope to come back stronger and make amends soon. if I win the lottery I will repay everyone with suitable love and interest. This is beyond embarrassing.
