Simon Says Be Strong- Simon Twitchell & Family

This fund is being set up to support Simon, Brendan and Lindsay Twitchell as they embark on the journey no parent wants to take, let alone for the second time. On Tuesday 12/21/20, Brendan and Lindsay were contacted by doctors with the results of a recent biopsy. The doctors shared that Simon's cancer has come back in the form of Lymphoma.  While they are learning more each day what this will mean and what the treatment plan will entail, there are some things we do know right now. On Tuesday 1/05/21 they will head into the hospital to begin a rigorous chemotherapy schedule to attack his illness. The chemo regimen is expected to take 2 - 3 weeks days of inpatient treatment and another month of outpatient.  Once they see that the chemotherapy has done it's job, and the cancer is in remission, they will then need to head to a hospital in Boston where Simon will undergo a bone marrow transplant. This will entail a several week hospital stay in Boston. Right now it looks like this may happen in March if everything goes according to plan. Brendan and Lindsay ask that you all please pray, send love, light and as many positive vibes as possible to Simon right now. They are thankful for their CCMC family and for the amazing team of nurses and doctors who have and will continue to care for Simon as if he were their own.
