Simon Presents: Hope Is A Marathon, Not A Race

Hello everyone, I’ll be training all through 2024, and collecting funds along the way, until a given date in September, when Canada celebrates one of our greatest heroes: Terry Fox.

I will pick a day (TBA) around the time of the rest of the runs across the country, and I will try to run as much as I can on that day. Last year it was around 4 hours, this year I’ll hope for 6-7. I will encourage all of you to show up (I’ll pick a local park - near Pitt Meadows most likely) and donate on the day, as well as jump in and run a few laps with me should you so choose.

Any and all help small or big is greatly appreciated. The funds will be directed towards Cancer Research as well as general funding for those affected; to continue to get the help they need.

The Marathon of Hope and its lead participant inspired me to realize that Hope; is in fact a Marathon, and not a race.
