Silver Lining Fire Fundraiser for Sister’s Family

I am Katrina Louis, and this is a fundraiser in addition to my nephew-in-laws, Skylar Johnston, to help my Sister and her family and roommate to get a new start. Yesterday my sister, Jennifer Macy, her roommate Kim Roark and my niece Jaylin and her husband Skylar and little girl Willow and my nephew Jacob, lost everything in a house fire. We are not sure what happened, but as you can imagine, it’s taken a lifetime to build up what my sister and her family have and it is all gone in a matter of minutes. My family, like many families, have been through some seriously difficult trials and tribulations, lost some of us and gained more. This hurts us deeply because this is the 3rd time that our lives have been impacted by fires in my lifetime. I am attempting to fundraise enough to get my sister and her family into a home and with the essentials you need in a home. I am sure Red Cross and likely FEMA will help, but that help is minimal in comparison to what it takes to rebuild a life. I’ve spent my life helping others in any way I can and my family give profusely to the community in every way we can. I ask that if you can find it in your heart and in your pocket book to donate $1 and share this fundraiser as much as you can so my sister and her family and roommate can have some kind of fresh start and a little stress off their shoulders. I’m asking for 20K for the total funding and go fund me has a graduated amount when you set up a fundraiser so it will ask for 9K now and gradually increase the amount as our fundraising goal is approaching so please know we are not adjusting the total and we are not out trying to take people for what we can get. This is 100% a fundraiser to show my family that God is there through the losses and helps rebuild through community. I thank you all for your support and shares.
