SilvaSide Biltong is Raising Money for Refuge Victoria

We’re a small handcrafted biltong business based in Melbourne - passionate about great food and giving back to the community around us.

On Saturday 23 May 2026, we’re turning our biggest trading day of the year into something that matters. Across both our kiosks at The Glen and Highpoint Shopping Centres, 50% of every sale on the day will be donated directly to Refuge Victoria - Victoria’s specialist family violence refuge service.

Refuge Victoria has been supporting women, children and families escaping family violence since 1976. Last year alone, they provided over 33,000 nights of safe accommodation to 410 individuals, more than half of them children. Behind every one of those nights is a family rebuilding their life from scratch, and they do it with the support of an incredible team of people who show up every single day.

We want to show up too.

Repost our fundraiser post or a picture of your recent SilvaSide purchase on Instagram and tag @silvasidebiltong - we’ll donate $1 for every repost between now and 23 May.

Come and visit us on the day at The Glen or Highpoint - round up your order at the register to add a little extra to the pot.

Every contribution - big or small - helps Refuge Victoria continue providing refuge, crisis accommodation, counselling and support to families who need it most.

All donations of $2 or more to Refuge Victoria are tax deductible.
