Hey everyone!

As many of you know my Grandson Silas is in the NICU and has been for days. Silas and my daughter have ABO incompatibility which caused her body to create antibodies to fight against his blood cells. Once he was born, he still had those antibodies attacking his blood cells which made his bilirubin skyrocket to a critical level before he was even 24 hours old. Along with that, his blood test is showing signs of him having a genetic blood disorder that would be inherited from his dads side but it has to be officially diagnosed with a genetic test at a children’s hospital when he’s at least 2 weeks old which can contribute to his severe case. So because of both of these conditions just soon after him being born, Silas was taken to the NICU to aggressively treat his condition before it caused permanent damage. Everyone please pray. My daughter and her husband are a young couple that both work very hard but her husband has not been able to work because of Silas being so sick. It’s a huge hardship for them so anything you can do helps out so much. They will have lots of medical expenses from his stay and them losing pay.
