Many of you know one of our local heroes and my friend, Silas Robbins. Silas has always been a great father and a hard worker, giving his support to our local Moscow community and helping those who are in need.

3 years ago Silas suffered a major challenge to his foot, along with his battle against diabetes he contracted an infection in his foot that could have killed him. I have watched as he struggled through the pain and still worked to take care of his family as he fought against this infection.

Despite his infection and the pain he still found time to support his daughter's Volleyball and high school sports, he would work weekends, and nights as a volunteer for our community. During the day I could always count on Silas to handle any issues that would come up in our business.

Now, he could use our help. His infection has taken its toll on his foot and he can no longer perform many of the functions he used to. There is a great possibility that Silas will end up losing his foot. The doctor is saying that he has a min. of a year before he can return to work.

Silas has been a strong part of our community and he has been a great friend to many of us. He needs some financial help during this time as he has not been able to work. As a father myself, I know firsthand how important it is to support my family in all their endeavors. I know how I would feel if I were unable to help my family due to medical reasons. I am asking all of you to help support our friend in this community in his time of need.

I feel so strongly about this that I am putting the first $300 dollars in on helping Silas and his family during this time of fiscal challenge due to his inability to work due to his medical condition.
