This is my niece, Sienna, a six year old girl living in Aberdare.

Christmas 2025 Sienna was so lucky to have received tickets to Disney world Florida for her and her family from Santa!

We as a family have been planning a holiday to Florida for the past few years and have been sharing the excitement with our children, Sienna being one of them, since giving them the tickets on Christmas day.

This excitement and happiness came to a halt on the 9th of February when an eye appointment showed swelling on Sienna's optic nerve.

Later that night after a brain scan showed a tumour, Sienna was blue lighted to The Noahs Ark children's hospital where she spent three weeks receiving treatment, having an emergency shunt placed and a brain operation which landed her in intensive care.

Unfortunately the brain tumour cannot be removed surgically so Sienna has now started her chemotherapy treatment which will continue for the next 18 months.

The saddest outcome right now is that Sienna has lost her eyesight. We as a family are holding on to the hope that she may regain some of her eyesight in time.

Throughout all of this, Sienna has remained the strong, brave and happy little girl she was before thanks to the amazing support she is receiving from her family and everyone at Noahs Ark.

The reason we have decided to set up a gofundme is due to the fact that Sienna's travel insurance is now void. She is no longer covered on the insurance policy that was taken out before this.

We are lucky enough to have found one insurance company offering to insure her travel to Florida which is around £6000.

We are hoping and are thankful for any donations we receive towards funding the new insurance policy.

Any remaining funds will go towards holiday enhancement and a donation towards Noahs Ark children's hospital and the Ronald Mcdonald house.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for Sienna to enjoy the magic of Disney world Florida. Their accessibility options for the blind are incredible and Sienna would be treated like the princess she is during the holiday.
