Hi my name is Bethan. This year I’ll be taking part in the Shrewsbury half marathon, which will be my 2nd ever half marathon race! This time I am running to raise awareness and funds for a little boy called Lincoln, a 7 year old boy who is in class with my little brother Cohben. Lincoln has multiple health conditions, unfortunately with no curable treatments, including:

1️⃣ coxa Valga

2️⃣ scoliosis

3️⃣ Cochlear implant wearer

4️⃣ Congenital muscular Dystrophy (CMD)

To help Lincoln gain independence whilst growing up, his family have realised they will need an extension on their family home to be able continue living there and to help Lincoln flourish. The extension has been approved to be able to give Lincoln a downstairs bedroom and wet room. The extension is costing £60,000. £30,000 kindly being paid by the council, leaving the family to pay the other £30,000. If anyone could kindly donate for me to run Shrewsbury half marathon race it would be much appreciated to help raise money for this lovely local family!
