Showrya's Eagle Project: Giving bluebirds a safe home
Donation protected
Hi! I'm Showrya, and I’m currently working on my Eagle Project for Scouting America.
I’ve been a Scout since 2021, and during that time, I've helped my community by doing community service projects (100+ hours of service) and volunteering at food banks. Throughout my journey, I've constructed benches, refurbished a dog park, and fixed up a local church garden. Along with my dedication to Scouting, I've loved birds since I was a kid. When it came time to do my Eagle project, I wanted to do something that combined my passion for birds and the Scouting spirit.
For my project, I'm building new bluebird nesting boxes for a local park (Lord Stirling Park). While visiting the park and looking at the birds, I noticed that many of them were weathered and rotten. The environmental center I'm building the boxes for has always put in effort to be a fun and intriguing experience for all, and I want to thank them for their efforts by giving back to the center.
I am deeply grateful for the generous support of my community. Your contribution will help many bluebirds make nests and raise their young. It'll also ensure that visitors to the park have beautiful bluebirds to admire for many years to come.
Please consider supporting my project and helping make this dream come to life. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference. Thank you!
