Hi my name is Erin and I am seeking support for my dear sister in law and her partner Ashley and children in what has been a catastrophic time of their lives.

I have known Zoe since she was 12 years old and she has always been a special person in my life. A close friend, confidant and a sister both by heart and by law after I married her brother many years later.

Zoe has been battling many health issues for many years, conditions that have made it incredibly difficult for her to work, care for herself and be the mum she honestly wanted to be for her 4 children. Despite this, she has shown strength and dedication to her children and a love for others that was genuine.

Ashley is her partner of 15 years who has helped raise Zoe's older children and had two of his own with Zoe. Ashley is the glue that has held them together for a long time. As a chef, he works long demanding hours to support Zoe and their children. Recently, Ashley faced a life threatening health issue of his own, adding even more strain to an already fragile situation. He was lucky to have had medical intervention in time or he may not have survived.

This past weekend everything changed.

Zoe suffered a fall and hit her head. She was taken to hospital where doctors discovered the situation was far more serious than we could have imagined. Zoe is now facing multiple critical conditions, organ failure, a brain bleed and a collapsed lung. She is currently in a induced coma and on life support. The doctors have told us to prepare for the worst.

Ashley is now juggling being by Zoe's side whilst also caring for their children, but is unable to work during this time. The financial pressure is overwhelming and household bills, daily living costs and medical costs are stacking up.

There is a potential Ashley will need support for funeral costs also as interventions are not currently working and her body is non-responsive.

We are asking for any support you can give to help ease this burden. Your contribution will go directly towards funding medical expenses, rent, bills and essntial living costs, Supporting Ashley whilst he cares for their children during this time.
