Showing Kendra She Is Not Forgotten by God

Donation protected
I recently met a woman named Kendra while she was working in the produce aisle at Publix. As I was approaching her, I felt the Holy Spirit place it on my heart to tell her how much God loves her. When I went up to her to grab some raspberries, we made small talk about the buy one get one free deal. Before leaving, I asked, “Hey, can I ask you something really quick before I go?” She said yes, and I asked if she believed in Jesus. With tears in her eyes, she replied, “Now why would you ask me that?”

Kendra opened up to me about what she has been going through. Her fiancé, David, is in the hospital, and life has been extremely hard. She has been working two jobs while also visiting him in the hospital. Financial burdens have been heavy, and she told me she has felt like God has forsaken her, even though she knows deep down that He hasn’t.

This interaction reminded me that God often provides for people through the kindness of others. Scripture says, “And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased” (Hebrews 13:16).

I want to stand in faith with Kendra and remind her that God is our provider. Philippians 4:19 says, “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”

I am asking for your help to raise money to bless Kendra financially. This will ease some of her burdens while also showing her that God truly sees her and cares for her. I believe that even the smallest interactions can lead to life-changing moments of faith. “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16).

Generosity is a privilege that has the power to transform the life of another person. As 2 Corinthians 9:6 says, “Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.”

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. Any way you choose to help, whether by giving, sharing this link, or lifting Kendra and David up in prayer, will be a powerful reminder to her that she is not alone and that God is still faithfully at work in her life.
