Showers of Blessings OC

Behind the beautiful image of Southern California lies thousands of homeless people. Unfortunately, the majority of the homeless community are either veterans, mentally impaired, and/or families.

In February of the year 2010, Armando Olvera and his immediate family founded the ministry, Showers of Blessings. Showers of Blessings consists of the following: preparation of a warm breakfast, distribution of clothing, and showers provided by a shower trailer. Aside from the normal necessities, the homeless community is also provided with the Word of God, prayer, and transportation to church.

The shower trailer was built by Armando Olvera, a professional plumber, in 2012. The trailer contains 3 shower stalls, with one of them being handicap accessible. After 5 years, there have been multiple repairs due to natural wear and tear. Recently, the tankless water heater and battery broke down. Due to this matter showers have not been available to the homeless community as often as we'd like to. Roughly, the overall expenses to repair and renew the trailer is about $2000.

With that being said, we hereby ask you for your generous donations. Any donation, big or small, is GREATLY appreciated!
