My darling niece, Madi, is embarking on a new adventure in her life. She has been living with her dad, my brother Phil, for the past year, assisting him with life. In Phil's recent passing, Madi has been faced with some big changes. She has moved into her own apartment and is "adulting" in a big way for the first time. She is navigating all of this beautifully, both adjusting to life without her dad and daily companion, and taking on all the new responsibilities of living on her own for the first time. She could use our help with so many first-time expenses. I always tell her how important it is to just "show up" for those in your life that you love, even when you don't know what to do.
