On Thursday 19th December our family was shaken when our Dad, a local RFS Volunteer was fighting the fires in NSW and was injured and burnt alongside other members of the Berrima Rural Fire Brigade. He was airlifted to Concord Burns Unit and thankfully is making a great recovery at home!
The local RFS teams are literally working around the clock, in situations that are beyond comprehension and the physical and emotional toll is unimaginable.
So many people have given generously already in the form of food and water. What the Volunteer Brigade need now is money to update equipment in the station and on the fire trucks, headwear lamps and other equipment.
Please help us to raise some money for the Berrima Rural Fire Brigade, every dollar counts!!
These men and women are VOLUNTEERS. And are quite literally putting their lives on the line to help others
