We urgently need your help in raising funds towards legal fees for two local activists, who were arrested during a peaceful protest at Elbit Systems, a company that supplies weapons and military technology for brutal use against innocent Palestinians.

Who We Are:

The Southwest Virginia Coalition for Palestine is asking you to donate and share this fundraiser so we can support these dedicated activists who believe in standing up against injustice wherever it may occur. All funds will be used for legal fees only.

What Happened:

During a peaceful demonstration against Elbit Systems, our friends were arrested for allegedly trespassing on unmarked and poorly marked areas of grass outside the fence. The public sidewalk near this area was being used to facilitate the peaceful demonstration. Our friends were exercising their constitutional rights to peacefully protest and draw attention to Elbit's complicity in human rights violations by profiting from what many experts agree to be genocide in Gaza.

Why We Need Your Support:

Unfortunately, the legal fees associated with defending against these charges are substantial. Our friends are facing an uphill battle in court, and they need financial support to secure adequate legal representation. By contributing to this fundraiser, you will help ensure that they receive a fair trial and have the opportunity to defend themselves against these unjust charges.
