For those who know her as Marie, or in the SCA as Tabitha, or simply as Pixie, you know that she is the kind of person who is always there—organizing, helping, listening, holding things together when no one else can.

Over the past few years, Pixie has juggled a full-time job with the incredibly heavy role of caregiver, medical advocate, household manager, and emotional anchor for her family. She has been the first call, the last one standing, the one quietly doing what needs to be done—whether it’s taking a parent to dialysis, navigating doctor visits, or keeping an elder relative safe and supported.

And through it all, she never stops giving.

If you’ve ever been to an event where she’s pitched in, if she’s ever made you laugh, helped out behind the scenes, brought comfort when things were tough—or just shared her love of Godzilla, Stitch, or the SCA—you know how rarely she puts herself first.

Now, as she approaches a milestone birthday—her 60th—we want to do something truly special. Something that says: You matter. You’re appreciated. You deserve joy, too.

We’re raising funds to send Pixie on a once-in-a-lifetime trip—to Orlando for a week of theme park magic and well-earned relaxation. This isn’t just a vacation—it’s a chance to give her back a little of the love and care she so freely gives to everyone else.

We’re asking friends, family, and fellow SCA household members to help make this happen. Any amount is appreciated. Every dollar helps us show Pixie just how much she means to all of us.

Let’s give her a celebration worthy of the fierce, funny, loyal, and loving woman she is. Let’s give back, for once, to the one who never asks, but always shows up.
