Love to Pier and Harley: Please help them today

I've known Pier for nearly 22 years. I still remember meeting her as a beautiful young woman—and she radiates that same beauty today. I've stood by her through life's peaks and valleys, and I've always seen her boundless love for animals.

From the moment I met her, she cared deeply for her boxers—Trushka, who after an accident walk and play with only three legs, and Tax and Angel, all of whom held a special place in her heart. Sadly, she lost them over time due to health issues. But her compassion never wavered. Not long after, she and her ex-husband welcomed Harley into their lives.

Harley brought boundless energy—playful, acrobatic, always ready with a trick to make us smile. Anyone who's met her knows how her playful spirit can light up a room. Now, at 16 years old, Harley's health is declining, and watching her age has been tough on Pier.

Pier has given her all to Harley's care. The frequent vet trips, the stress of uncertainty, and the emotional weight of each day—it's been a heavy burden. That's why I'm reaching out to all of you—not only because Pier's birthday is coming up on July 1st, but to let her know she's not alone.
