Hi, my name is Alan Dow, I am transgender non-binary man in Toledo and I'm asking you for some support for a friend in need.

In our community, we take care of each other. Heli is one of those people who helps take care of others and they deserve to get some of that love and support for themselves.

Heli has an elderly dog who is in the end stages of life and is in need of care and as most of us with pets know, that is not very affordable for most people.

Heli has been hospitalized recently with health issues, and lost out on work, and while in the hospital, their iPad was stolen.

It's the holiday season and this can be the loneliest time of year for gender non conforming folks. Heli has literally organized search parties for missing community members, has spoken up to advocate for non binary folks, and has supported so many of us. If you can spare a bit to help show them that they matter, that their contributions to our community matter, and show them that they are not alone, because we are family and we look out for each other. No one gets by on their own in life.
