Hi. My name is Dean Stenner and I'm part of the Shotton Walkers community fundraising team.

We support our community through out the year by holding fundraising events. Our fundraising ensures we can provide free Santa visits to children at Christmas. The children all receive a free gift at no cost to their parents or guardians.

We support local community needs including, food bank and mental health organisations & families who desperately need help.

Our walk this year will take us in a loop from shotton through to Chester and back,

The walk will involve the Shotton Walkers team and members of the community during this find raising walk

Starting at 1000 on Saturday 8th August 2026 from Hendys Pub, Brookside, Brook Rd, Shotton, Deeside CH5 1HL and returning bacl approx 9pm for a celebration. the walk is specifically designed for ages and abilities across the flat loop tracking the Dee and walls of Chester, Please join us for the walk and help raise support our local community. more info on our website or facebook page,
