Help Us Continue Serving the wounded Veterans Who Served Our Nation
Veterans Pat Farley and Frank Kirby, founders of Shots for Soldiers, and know first-hand that the pride of serving their country often, unfortunately, comes with a cost of debilitating pain and rounds of pills. Their desire to alleviate this debilitating pain in a more direct way and to serve their fellow veterans led to the founding of Shots for Soldiers, a non-profit organization that utilizes cutting-edge Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) injections that use the body’s own blood cells to promote a more natural, rapid healing process, treating everything from joint pain to neck and back pain issues nearly all veterans suffer from. Over the past few years, the Shots for Soldiers organization – in partnership with Enso Doctors– has been able to provide desperately needed, well-deserved, and long-lasting pain relief to over 135 veterans, including Medal of Honor recipients, pilots, infantrymen, sailors, airmen, and more. This service, unquestionability has saved lives by allowing the veterans much greater freedom and mobility to live their lives to the fullest extent possible.
Since its inception, Shots for Soldiers has been determined to keep this service at zero cost to the veterans while looking to expand their nationwide operations to ensure that as many veterans as possible can be treated. Although this program has been blessed with some generous donors and Enso Doctors-trained physicians who have been volunteering their own time to take this initiative to their own communities, the truth is that Pat and Frank have spent much of their own funds and have relied on volunteer staff to keep to this commitment. With its ever-growing success, the cost and desired speed of expanding the program is outpacing the current amount of people and supplies required to grow it. Currently we are treating veterans with the help of the DPC’s network of doctors from across the country, thereby eliminating the need for veterans to travel to our home office in Kansas.
Additional funding is needed to pay for the physical space to treat veterans, purchase the PRP kits, and support the staff who manage the logistics of scheduling veterans for their complimentary injections at the Shots for Soldiers headquarters in Manhattan, KS, and across the country. Most importantly though, Shots for Soldiers needs you and any monetary support you are able and willing to give to help offset these overhead costs. 100% of your generous donation will go directly to the cause of keeping this great program alive and growing to reach as many veterans as possible.
These veterans gave so much to us: now is the opportunity to give back to them. We thank you for your consideration and support.
