I've lived in my home for over 12 years, and I never imagined I would be in this situation. My landlord recently decided to convert the house into an Airbnb, and I was given only 90 days to move out. Now, with less than two weeks left, I'm facing the very real possibility of being homeless. I've never been evicted before, and the thought of not having a place to go is overwhelming and frightening.
90 days to vacate is not the same as 90 days to find a new home.
Because I have been paying below market, I'm doing everything I can to find a new place, but time is running out and options are limited. I am seeking short-term help specifically for the period from May 1st through August 30th, so I can pay for a hostel or other temporary summer housing. After August 30th, I plan to travel to California to stay with family and work on a long-term solution from there. Your support will help me avoid being on the streets during this incredibly stressful time.
I appreciate any donation or blessing you can offer. This experience has been extremely traumatizing and stressful, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for considering helping me during this difficult transition.
